While typical safaris often follow the well-worn routine of 6 am morning game drives, a hurried lunch, and another rushed game drive, we offer a refreshing alternative.
Activities like walking safaris and game drives can be arranged as needed, but we have designed the lodge to ensure that you don’t have to go on a game drive every day to experience the bush.
During your stay at Painted Dogs Lagoon, you’ll have ample time to relish this incredible lodge without missing out on the sundowner experience. Or enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife from our stunning infinity pool overlooking our own lagoon.

Game drives.
We take pride in having Victor Banda as our Senior Safari Guide, with over 15 years of experience in the South Luangwa National Park. He is available to arrange private safaris whenever you’re in the mood for a drive.
